Zora dug right in to help clean out the "pumpkin guts", but Lily REFUSED. Daddy carved and Zora cleaned them out. They each got to pick what their pumpkin's face would look like. Teaching Heart, Mind and Soul. For now and eternity - through Christ-centered education. Christmas Time Is Here :-). Our Christmas festivities have been in full swing around here. Last week the girls made ornaments for all the grandparents. This is an annual tradition. Each year we do a different kind of ornament. One year we did salt clay ornaments, another year was shrinky-dinks, and this year we did painted wooden ornaments. And they love the Zhu Zhu Pet game! Twas The Night Before Christmas Book.

As you might have guessed, we had crap weather and didn't get to do as much as we wanted/planned, but we tried to make the most of it and Jonathan claimed that his expectations of Norway were rain and cold - so, we certainly didn't let him down :). In the past many days, I have thought about various things I should share / blog about each of them and their unique personalities, but I haven't written anything down. Teaching Heart, Mind and Soul. For now and eternity - through Christ-centered education. Rosey Cake Summers was one of our little dogs that we got the girls in Christmas 2009. We got two precious little babies and have loved an nurtured them since they were about 7 weeks old. My girls have become such good buddies with them. They love on them and play with them as if they were human.and truth be told, I'm not sure that the dogs even realize that they are dogs! Monday was my sweet Lily's 5th birthday!

Lexi and Lillian's World. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Jen treated us to her speciality - chicken fried steak and gravy (a la Granny Bitting) - Tim was in heaven. The finished meal even included sweet tea :). Jen, Lillian and I hiked to a local waterfall (Månefossen) on Wednesday last week. It is only a 30 minute hike to the waterfall, but the ascent is very, very steep. You use chain ropes to pull yourself up the rocks in several places. Here is Jen and Lillian at the start. Lexi and Lillian's World. Thursday, October 27, 2011. I finally found a relatively easy way to convert my MP4 video clips to an decent size AVI for uploading.
