Team Zuber: Ceremony Moments

The ceremony began with our mothers lighting candles. And then the boys come out from hiding.or maybe it was the other way around. Here's my handsome hubby awaiting my arrival. Then I came down the aisle, trying to compose myself. We had prayer with each other. Singing.lots of beautiful singing! And after vows and rings, we had a unity candle and communion. A brief moment after the ceremony.Here I am saying to Wes, "Can you believe it? And our boisterous escape from the church, showered by lavender!

It takes a lot to get ready to walk down the aisle. Lacing takes a long time. But has a nice effect. Next up.walking down the aisle. I hear there are some great pics of Wes getting ready. When we arrived at the church to dress for the ceremony, everything was ready and waiting for us. The sun was shining above the church. The parking spot reserved for the get-away car. The gardenia and ocean breeze candels were placed in the windows. Communion was ready to be taken. Guestbook was waiting for its first visitors. The flowers were ready to be carried. Saturday, July 4, 2015. Adele all dressed in her church and patriotic garb. Katie Sue on the new Magical Bridges playground. Emeline fanning herself with her new fan from Grandma. Walking over to the church booth. Trying to get a group shot, but Joshie photo bombs. Adele snuggling with Wendy. Later that evening, Wes biked the big girls over to shoreline to see the fireworks. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Kate's bday hair cut. Since Grandma Chris was in town, I left Adele and Emeline with grandma and took Kate for some alone time. This year for Wes' birthday, I decided to try out a chocolate Guinness cake. Wes likes beer, and it sounds manly right? I found this recipe online, and decided to give it a try. The result was delicious. One of the moistest chocolate cakes I've ever made. A slightly bitter hint of Guiness, but was evevened out nicely by the sweet cream cheese frosting.
