Tuesday, 22 March 2011. Today my eyes fell on some left over double sided tape, and a stash of fabrics I had up on the side. I recalled a cute tutorial I saw on Between the Lines. About making fabric tape, or 'DIY Japanese Masking Tape' as it was described. Either way it looked pretty simple so I had a go at making a few rolls. I made a flowery one. Today was spent at Kiltynane Wines in Swan Bay on the Bellarine Peninsula,. Where I caught up with the girls from work for lunch. A small boutique winery located at Basil's Farm,. With views to die for. Where we wandered through the vast Parterre Garden. And picked cherry tomatoes and were amazed by their fruity goodness. And sat under a gorgeous old fig tree. Aug 9, 2013. I have been very slack with blog updates of late however I do have a great excuse. I have had my head in my sewing machine. Busy with 5 quilts on the go, one for my Dad, one for the School Fete, one for Lucy, a Liberty and Linen one and a Star Quilt 'just for technique'. I am also branching out and have made a cute bag and a hobby bag. A few weeks ago I had a weekend away with my best and we sewed our selves silly! I am slightly addicted right now and would rather be sewing than working.

Sunday, 3 June 2012. Our dear little man came into the world on monday night. We've been slowly settling in and getting to know each other. We had asked him to wait until all the house moving and cleaning was finished and to please allow his mama a few extra days for rest. The 28th would be a most perfect day to arrive, we told him. And so he obliged, what a darling. He came so quickly, just 45 minutes after arriving at the hospital. Thank you to all the sweet folk who have checked in on me.
