Go to START All Programs Accessories System Tools Task Scheduler (or just search for "Task Scheduler"). In the left-hand pane expand "Task Scheduler Library", expand "Microsoft", expand "Windows", and highlight "Diagnosis". Right-click on "Scheduled" (next to the clock icon) and select "Disable". Surprisingly the Apple Store was cool about returning it and gave her a new phone. The moisture indicator inside the headphone jack still showed a faint red line, but it was nowhere nearly as obvious as when the phone was first soaked.
