I don't quite understand the question. Can I drink the water? This is based on one assumption - that the pot should be made of glass and has some uniform shape. The approach wud be to tilt the pot so that water pours out and when you see that the water level is seen to be diagonal on the alternate ends of the pot then it's half empty.
