Technically Leading | The exciting adventures of software development leads
The exciting adventures of software development leads. Leading a software development team is a black art that requires a foot in two worlds: the world of software architecture, and the world of people managment. This blog is about the insights and experiences of people who occupy this space in the professional world. This is my story. I was approaching my one-year anniversary as a manager when this all came to a head. In Over My Head. The next Monday I had my 1:1. This, all of this, it was too much.

Lost in thought
Thursday, March 26, 2009. I am bored at work right now, so I figured I would tell you the story of how my tranny went. No not a transexual. So I put it in park and turn the car off and try to restart in just in case the gears were stuck. Nothing. I had it towed to VW because I was pissed that I just had the car in for the 80k mile service that had just cost me $900.
