Well I saw fireworks from the freeway. And behind closed eyes I cannot make them go away. June 23rd, 2012. So once upon a time in college I thought "hey, what if I put coconut in oatmeal cookies? Maybe dates too, like in that one bread I liked.". And I looked up a recipe for plain oatmeal cookies, and tweaked it a bit over the next several batches, and it was good. Sending them to people isn't gonna work right now, but I can at least share the directions. 1/2 cup butter (or margarine works fine), softened.
