The O' Bento Diet. Sep 25th, 2006 at 11:19 AM. The O' Bento Diet. I really am making this up myself. Japanese people are very small, but it's not because they are naturally. They eat very small meals. And the meals they do eat are very well-rounded. Bento lunch boxes are commonly no bigger than 6x8 inches. I'm not necessarily going to do this for every meal, but for many. 1 Use a bento lunchbox or small plate for correct size. 2 Must have even protein to carb and then veggie or fruit.
