Sunday, February 20, 2011. Freebsd installation was a big pain in the a* . I slogged for an entire day just to get basic stuff working. Firstly I tried multiple times with the vanilla install ISO images but was not able to get the networking elements to work for a looonnnggg while! Got tired at 2 AM and downloaded the PC BSD - a gui based version of the FreeBSD. The install went seamlessly and have finally got the hang of working on this thing!
