One of my favorite Independence Day memories was being stationed at MCAS El Toro back in the 90's and being at the local movie theater which was half filled with Marines watching Independence Day on opening night when the General tell's Wil Smith, "El Toro has been completely destroyed." and the entire theater breaks out in cheers.
