Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Link which can be found via the Diigo page). To a large extent, teachers should generally be concerned with issues regarding “fair use.” That is, what material may teachers duplicate, how much of it may be duplicated, and to what extent may teachers use someone else’s creation in their classrooms? Wednesday, November 11, 2009. I like the idea of considering an interactive whiteboard an additional tool in the teacher's toolbox. It is different, and most definitely. Overall, we ...

Justin's Blog Talk: Week 4
http://justinsblogtalk.blogspot.com/2009/09/week-4.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. I am seriously contemplating the use of social bookmarking when I teach certain courses as there are various industry links that I would like students to be able to quickly access. For this week's assignment, I used Diigo simply because I have never engaged in social bookmarking before and thought it wise to utilize the same source as this course. I added my Diigo link as a gadget in Blogger. 2 Five ways of incorporating Excel into the curriculum:. Students could be required t...

Justin's Blog Talk: December 2009
http://justinsblogtalk.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Wow- what a quick semester! It is hard to believe that we have already reached the end of an education packed, enlightening course. I can honestly say that I've created things that I never thought possible. Who would have thought that you can do more with that thing than project a PowerPoint presentation? Additionally, I can see many more possibilities such as the use of blogging as a way of facilitating student reflection; streaming videos to break up a lecture; creating a w...

Justin's Blog Talk: Week 8
http://justinsblogtalk.blogspot.com/2009/10/week-8.html
Saturday, October 17, 2009. As an instructor, I often use videos to reinforce content in the classroom. As an instructor in a funeral service program, I have tinkered with the idea of assigning students a partner with whom they could make mock funeral arrangements while recording the entire session. Then, the pair could first watch the video. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Ed Tech. for My New Career. Final Thoughts on EDU 610. Lovin' Technology in the Classroom.

Justin's Blog Talk: Week 10
http://justinsblogtalk.blogspot.com/2009/11/week-10.html
Wednesday, November 11, 2009. I am appreciative of the opportunity to learn more about interactive whiteboards. Regrettably, I have been teaching in a classroom with a SMART board for approximately one and a half years and have used it as nothing more than a fancy PowerPoint tool. I was certain that it was capable of serving as more than a projector screen but never took the time to learn more about it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
