My Platinum theme was released a while back, and is a dark theme for Mozilla Firefox. Many people don't like it, but later reviews were more favourable, if few and far between since the theme dropped off the front page of addons.mozilla.org. It's available on the Mozilla Addons site. But is no longer supported or developed, as I've decided it's not worth the effort to maintain it for the latest versions of Firefox: I'm just not cut out to be an artiste. It'll work up to Firefox 2.0.

The village hall booking system is a piece of software I wrote as practice for my AS-level computing coursework. The specification for the 2006 syllabus (what I had to do as practice) can be found on the AQA website. Has been archived by the Wayback machine. It took about two months to code, working from the ground up (but using my standard libraries for things like database access and session management). It uses icons from the Tango project. But the rest of the interface design was performed by myself.

Gnome-common deprecation, round 2. Is deprecated, but will be hanging around for a while. If you care about modernising your build system, migrate to autoconf-archive macros. This GNOME release cycle (3.18), we plan to do the last ever release of gnome-common. A lot of its macros for deprecated technologies (scrollkeeper? Have been removed, and the remainder of its macros have found better replacements in autoconf-archive. Where they can be used by everyone, not just GNOME. First person to complain about.
