We have attempted to grow chard late last year but before the seedlings had a chance to grow to the real vegetables, they were eaten by birds! I was frustrated as our efforts to grow vegetables were wasted! We learn from each failure. As Spring has just kick-started planting season, we decided to try growing vegetables again with precautions taken this time.
