Friday, March 11, 2011. I am sorry to update with no pictures! Our Kodak easy share camera was dropped one too many times, I guess. But here's the "haps": Jake won his school spelling bee which enters him into the statewide bee to see who gets to go to the National Geographic Bee in Washington, D.C. in May. He is totally jazzed and studies every night. He is determined to win. It is kind of nice to see him excited about something like this! Ben is 5. Oh my goodness, he is 5! Sigh* What are you gonna do?

Perhaps someday I will relate all the details, but for now I just want to express my thoughts about my parents. I don't think as kids we ever really understand the love and devotion our parents have for us, I know I didn't. We took a detour from the usual this summer, and went to visit my brother Andy and his beautiful family in Las Vegas.
