Book review policy (sticky post) - Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tales. 08:48 pm May 11th, 2013. Book review policy (sticky post). My current book review policy is behind the LJ cut. I'm currently accepting books for review. I generally read fantasy, young adult, and science fiction, though those are far from the only things I read. I enjoy horror (though not gore) and gay erotica. I'm open to almost any genre, so long as the story is interesting and the writing is good. Or Leave a comment. April 3rd, 2...

Leaving home again - Rural Ramblings of the Third Kind
http://ruralrob.livejournal.com/704313.html
Leaving home again - Rural Ramblings of the Third Kind. Feb 7th, 2011 05:46 pm. It’s looking VERY snowy here lately. We have not had any major snowfalls, just frequent smaller ones. The result is a permanent winter wonderland look, like the above. It’s our house, btw, for those not familiar with my story. Off to Toronto tomorrow, returning Friday evening, for a conference; it's The Gay Men’s Sexual Health Summit. I’m on the provincial organizing committee but in truth I haven’t had to do a lot.

Nothing Like Fire to Liven Things Up - Theater of the Mind

Theater of the Mind. August 7th, 2015. Nothing Like Fire to Liven Things Up. Oh, the webs we weave when we practice to deceive. Its also not a good idea to let employees check all the databases, especially after being told that a certain function is used to generate statistics. Statistics are data and thus are immutable - unless one is an employer bent on making sure that upper administrative levels get all the money and wage slaves get as little as possible. Evidently, the answer is yes. We could be loo...

Take care of those you call your own. And keep good company. I only post on weekends. Aug 3rd, 2015 at 12:07 PM. So, this weekend -. It was an off Friday so I got to spend a good part of Friday working on the Terracraft. I'm making good progress on the build of the second motor controller, the first one being no longer functional. I hope that this weekend I'll be able to get the motor spinning again. Or determine that the motor is also toast. In which case I have a backup. In other news I've been holding...

Loris look at life. The good, the bad and the crazy. Oh yeah.another thing. Loris look at life. Oh yeah.another thing. One more random thought after seeing The Dark Knight yesterday:. Lots of kids at the show, and I mean young kids! It's an adult movie, and I would have thought that would have been plainly obvious by not only the trailers, but the butt-load of publicity surrounding Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. 27th-Jul-2008 07:05 pm (UTC). 27th-Jul-2008 08:37 pm (UTC). Field day and the last day of school went well. Yup, my girl Bridget. Field day and the last day of school went well. Yup, my girl Bridget is definitely the fastest runner in her class by far, despite being in the bottom third of her class height-wise. Some kids have better sports techniques due to the activities they have experience with, but she's the speediest for sure. Won two more relays for them. Speaking of outdoor play, there was an interesting small-world co-incidence:. He's like an uncle to her...
