DUST: Describe & Define

Present the above on the whiteboard. Anyone can make a definition for a word they know that starts with H. The rest try to guess. It's a thing people. It's a place where. It's a person who. You can continue the game by adding letters and limiting the options. Or bringing new options into play. All the while the class continue to make definitions and the rest of the class try to guess. Give them some time beforehand to think of some words and clues in pairs / groups first if necessary. Word games and vocab.

I would adjust the time depending on their ability). 3) There is no need for students to think, pause, check if the writing is correct or ask questions. DUST: An incomplete Drawing

Copy the line below onto paper and then, using your imagination, complete a drawing in 2 to 3 minutes. When you have finished write a few sentences about your drawing and present to the rest of the people in the room. Draw six circles on paper and use the circles as an inspiration to draw 6 different objects. Do this without looking at everybody else's drawings. When finished describe and define what you have drawn and the rest of the class can guess what it is and note if they have drawn the same.
