Shakespeare, shoulder tapping, and social media | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/shakespeare-shoulder-tapping-and-social-media
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Shakespeare, shoulder tapping, and social media. June 1, 2015. I’ve been neglecting my comics, and I want to change that. Honestly, for something that I enjoy so much, I’m not sure why I put them off so much. Law school is busy, sure, but I have free time. My comics just haven’t been high on the list of priorities (I’ve been reading, mostly), but they should be. Summer is as good a time as any to get back into it. In other news, check out the Stripped. Fireflies, fear, and philosophy | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2015/07/23/fireflies-fear-and-philosophy
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Fireflies, fear, and philosophy. July 23, 2015. It has been a pretty fantastic summer for me, when I stop to think about it. The uptick in my drawing I guess is partly a result of that. The first comic is my attempt to be purely artistic. Watching the fireflies come out is one of the purest and earliest joys I can associate with summer. The book is stolen or destroyed (I’ve had both happen to books of mine)! Parasites, privilege, and power | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2015/06/17/parasites-privilege-and-power
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Parasites, privilege, and power. June 17, 2015. The summer rolls on, and so do my opportunities to draw. The first comic is based on a conversation I had with a friend. It’s a good thing the seasons are seasonal. I love each season for different reasons, but there are also things I don’t miss when they decide to change. I’ve recently discovered the GoComics app. This entry was posted in Cartoons. Attractiveness, trade-offs, and chivalry. June 30, 2015 at 12:42 pm.

Dinosaurs, reading time, and bad jokes | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2015/06/26/dinosaurs-reading-time-and-bad-jokes
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Dinosaurs, reading time, and bad jokes. June 26, 2015. Apologies for not posting sooner. I was doing my semi-annual reread of The Lord of the Rings and got some tunnel vision. I was always an action figure kid. Last time I was in Walmart I was sorely tempted by a new Velociraptor toy. Fortunately my more prudent side won out. This entry was posted in Cartoons. Parasites, privilege, and power. Magically delicious →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Ralph and Chuck is ...

tegthethird | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/author/tegthethird
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Raiment, reticence, and reading. May 2, 2016. I attended a law school job fair a couple months ago, which went terribly. I’m very bad at selling myself, especially in a short period of time during an event that’s more about the firms advertising themselves than anything else (e.g. “We’re actually not hiring anyone right now…”). Naturally my thoughts turned philosophical. I hate getting dressed up. I’m in the final stretch of law school – only one mor...Lisa and ...

Body spray, boredom, and books | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2015/07/31/body-spray-boredom-and-books
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. Body spray, boredom, and books. July 31, 2015. The first comic is obviously poking fun about how so-called feminists view. Is as somehow upholding “the patriarchy.” If you’re going to be angry, at least be angry about something substantive. My fiancée is very forgiving of the rate of book accumulation in our small apartment. When we eventually move to a bigger place it’s going to be a nightmare (but worth it). Productivity | Ralph and Chuck
https://ralphandchuck.wordpress.com/2014/11/03/productivity
A traditional comic strip by Tommy Grooms. November 3, 2014. Nothing like a deadline for a fifteen-page paper for coming up with comic ideas! In all seriousness, I’ve found a clean and orderly environment is helpful before working on a big assignment. Taking care of all the little things before sitting down and putting in several hours of writing can do wonders for anxiety and focus. Putting off a paper to draw comics is another story entirely. Well, back to work! This entry was posted in Cartoons. Ralph...
