Van Newlyn naar Brixham. Maandag 1 augustus: om Lizard Point naar Falmouth. Mooie ochtendwandeling gemaakt langs de kust naar Mousehole, een pitoresque haventje. Nu was het tij eindelijk eens gunstig zodat we pas om 12.00 uur hoefden te vertrekken uit Newlyn. De lucht boven de Scillies werd pikzwart. Tegen de tijd dat we bij Lizard Point waren was het zicht slecht. Lang leve de kaartplotter en de AIS! Zeker als je namen als “Devills Frying Pan” op de kaart ziet. Corpach naar Portree (Eiland Skye). Vrijdag 10 juni: Corpach naar Oban. Samen met de Jollie Ollie opgevaren. Loch Linnhe heeft aan beide kanten ruige bergtoppen en prachtige vergezichten. Na 7 mijl heeft Loch Linnhe een vernauwing waar het behoorlijk kan stromen. Onderweg een aantal keren dolfijnen en zeehonden gezien.
