Tuesday, November 6, 2012. We had a baby. There are no words to describe that beautiful moment when they lay your newborn on your belly. With Kevin by my side and tears in our eyes we counted ten fingers and ten toes. Relieved that he was only 7 pounds 9 ounces, instead of the predicted ten pounds, we held him close and embraced the little miracle in our arms. We are home now and everyone is doing well, Henry Augustus is a dream and we are completely in love. Completely in love I tell ya. Nat The Fat Rat.

Thursday, April 17, 2014. Excuse the back log here for a moment. Before I became completely neurotic about pie, I was stewing all the options in my mind. Writing a business plan and price matching all sorts of ingredients, including the testing and perfecting recipes. Monday, April 21, 2014. This year our "Easter Photos" came from our own couch instead of my parents entry way. Which is where they've been taken for the last 6 years. I guess I could have gone over there and set my camera up and taken them just for the sake of tradition. But that's no fun if my parents aren't there. It was slightly chaotic, but I've come to expect that from remote control photos. I could eat these two up. I hope your Easter was filled with lots of ham and cadbury eggs! Sunny with a Chance.

Saturday, September 25, 2010. Looks like this bicycle has a kick-stand. Dustin and I went in for my 18 week ultrasound yesterday. We have been anticipating this day for what seems like FOREVER and I wanted to make sure that the baby would show us the goods! I guzzled OJ and took a few sips of a Dr. Pepper to get the little jumping bean moving. Not to worry, it took the tech all of 2 seconds to announce to us that we were having a BOY! We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little man!

Thursday, October 13, 2011. To cure Chase's hunting blues we went salmon fishing on the Columbia River. We only had one salmon rod and then rigged up my trout rod and crossed our fingers it won't break! After a few hours we decided to switch rods with each other and before I knew it Chase's pole looked like a rainbow. He was using the trout rod and it looked like it was about to break in half! We were both so excited he caught the salmon and of course couldn't wait to have a great meal.
