Oh well, they won at history, too, so it's only right. At least I got several episodes of "Gondoling" out of the whole event, and it's a fun story. My excuse is that I have:. Contents of head, slightly filtered. December 31st, 2014. Sorry, I have no suitable Glorfindel icon. I am still traveling and without internet for HOURS at a time (also, without cheap internet for DAYS at a time) but I wanted to record my main new year's resolution, which is to work 'smarter, not harder' and to use more of the resulting free time on exercise. I did think about doing a round-up post but I am surprisingly not into navel-gazing at the moment. Maybe I will do a fic-oriented one later.

Here is a follow-up to my previous post, about the Fall of Gondolin as a volcanic eruption: it would explain why Glorfindel did not join the Fellowship. He had volcano-phobia, caused by his first death (where he somehow entangled himself with lava - I have not worked out the details yet).
