Medzi dušou človeka a tým čo zobrazuje. Najstaršie známe ikony pochádzajú zo 6.storočia. Najcennejšie pamiatky ikonomaľby na Slovensku sú až z 15.-16.storočia. Ikony z východného Slovenska, ktoré sú vetvou postbyzantského maliarstva, sú spojené s osídlením obyvateľstva v tejto časti krajiny, ktoré náboženskými i ľudovými tradíciami má korene vo východoslovanskej kultúre.

Narodila sa 24.apríla 1964 v Považskej Bystrici. Žije a tvorí v Dubnici nad Váhom. Vyštudovala Pedagogickú fakulta UMB v Banskej Bystrici a Ikonopiseckú školu v Michalovciach. Venuje sa akvarelu, olejomaľbe, kresbe, ilustrácii, ikonopisectvu, maľbe na sklo. Pôsobí ako vedúca oddelenia kultúry MsÚ Ilava. Je zakladateľkou Klubu výtvarníkov "Arte relax" v Ilave. V roku 2001 sa stala členkou Spolku ikonopiscov sv. Cyrila a Metoda Slovenska v Košiciach.
