The Future City Competition is a national, project-based learning experience where students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade imagine, design, and build cities of the future. General Information / History. February - March 2014. On Friday, February 21st we will be having a social event at Barry's Bar and Grill in Lincoln (235 N 9th St, Lincoln, NE). This event will start at 5:30 PM and will be a great opportunity to network with young engineers and students in the Lincoln area. We would like to have more of a presence in the Lincoln area so anyone interested is encouraged to show up and bring friends! Your first drink and free appetizers will be on ASCE just for showing up.
