The Yarn Mystic: July 2004
http://theyarnmystic.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
Where knitting is a spiritual and empowering process. Monday, July 26, 2004. When this thing, this.this.this knot pops up out of nowhere! I've heard of this happening, but have never encountered it. Is this normal? How often has this happened to. I was busy knitting and watching The Iron Giant. So I didn't notice it right away. Until I checked my work! There's so many things I want to start, but am holding off. At least until I finish Honeymoon and my friend's beanie. Oh, and don't forget, I stil...To fi...

On Beads and Needles: January 2012
http://beadsandneedles.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
On Beads and Needles. Pull up a chair and have a browse :). Monday, January 30, 2012. We've had sunshine for 3 whole days now! So much better than the never-ending rain we were having before that :) Supposedly it's been getting up near 60, but the wind has definitely been COLD. But not bad for January, and nice and warm in the car in the sun! And after working on this again this week, with 1 strand over-2 on the 35ct linen, it makes that BIG TG NYC. As for this coming week - keep on on both of these piec...

12th Day of Christmas. How to Make Japanese-Inspired Ornaments. Submitted by Pam on Wed, 11/12/2008 - 06:00. These pretty decorations are based on an ancient Japanese craft known as Temari. They begin with a styrofoam ball, wrapped in thread. This forms a beautiful and functional base for embroidery. Here's a picture of some traditional Temari. They can be a little complicated to make, so they're really best learned from a book. Begin by winding the thread around the ball. It should be snugly wound.

Sarah Youde (aka monroegirl). I love to scrap and I love to stitch. I also love reading, eating and the odd glass of red wine! I only wish I had more time to do all the things I love. Most of my time is taken up looking after a couple of other things I love and they are my two gorgeous children Ben and Charlotte. They ARE gorgeous, I am not biased, I have been blessed with beautiful children which is a good thing because I have such wonderful subjects for my scrapbooking addiction. Have You Seen This?

TheReissu: lokakuuta 2008
http://thereissu.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Keskiviikko 29. lokakuuta 2008. Hyvinnukutun yön jälkeen päätimme jäädä Floral Inn hotelliin vähintään kolmeksi päiväksi. Maksettuamme lisäyöt vastaanottoon lähdimme aamupalalle ostosputkeen. Päädyimme lopulta Clever. Kahvilaan, koska sen nimi viittasi fiksuun päätökseen. Namba-aseman infopisteessä meitä opasti jo eläkeiässä oleva pirteänoloinen herrasmies. Saatuamme roppakaupalla lisätietoa Osakasta lähdimme rohkeasti etsimään pienen kartan avulla lähistöllä sijaitsevaa matkatoimistoa. Matkatoimistossa ...
