Monday, February 23, 2009. Petra Jordan - Part Two. Today, we went to Petra, Jordan. We were up early and arrived to the Yitzchak Rabin border crossing by 7:30 am What an interesting experience! We had to go through Passport control - we were leaving Israel, then we crossed the border by foot into a "No Man's Land" into Jordanian control - as someone suggested - it felt like a prisoner swap!
