Lew Dabney (grandson of Lewis Stackpole Dabney). When I looked at Mother's copies of Dabney Annals I knew I would never get through the volumes.So this is great - he seems to have pulled out the essential material to create the picture. Tenth Kentucky Volunteer Infantry

Battle of Mill Springs. Capture of Co. A and H. Morgan's 2nd Kentucky Raid. The 10th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry was organized in Lebanon, Kentucky on November 21, 1861 and mustered out of service on December 6, 1864. Over 221 men died (KIA and disease) from the unit during the war and others were lost due to wounds, capture, disease and other factors. The unit’s greatest loss occurred at Chickamauga.
