Thursday, July 21, 2011. Jakarta – 1st Impression. Out of the airport, it took me 75min to reach downtown. The traffic was horrible, cars were snailing. The city layout was similar to Bangkok. Elevated highways pierced through the city. We had a good seafood dinner at Pondok Sedap Malam at Jalan Batu Tulis. Luxurious cars lined up to load/ unload passengers. Monday, May 02, 2011. Have been here in Balikpapan for 10 days. Met a few acquintances who had given me some precious advices in this industry. Not easy to find someone who is willing to teach. No free lunch, I was told. Any assistance and information are expected to be hooked up with monetary rewards. Most of the restaurants have live band performance in the weekend, quite good. I like the small "warong" beside the beach, grabing my cold "Bintang" beer and enjoying their performance.

Saturday, October 09, 2010. 12300;你來北京一年都沒有，你對北京的感覺，未必會發展到喜愛北京的。」. 最近想起這句半年前香港同鄉會的會友﹝即教友﹞對我說的話。十月一日當天經深圳回香港。在深圳的街道穿梭，途經一些最近10年才落成的住宅區，我真有點感覺已回到香港。過去間中都有去深圳吃喝玩樂，直到十月一日才覺得深圳很像香港。那些住宅區竟然令我想起淘大花園及大角咀。居於深圳的香港人問過在北京的日子過得如何，我都不知道怎麼說，只簡單的回應了：「ok呀，不錯。」. 坐皇崗過境巴士時，想起這個問題，就想起了同鄉會會友的那句話。回家的途中竟然想起了北京。 12300;你來北京一年都沒有，你對北京的感覺，未必會發展到喜愛北京的。」. 同鄉會會友的那句話，明示了若果我在北京逗留長一點，就會多喜愛一點北京。在京城的工作，不想多說了，天天應付突如其來的狀況，令人疲於奔命，有放下一切逃跑去玩的衝動。我享受每週下班後跟同事們吃宵夜，假期一起出外玩玩。沒有什麼驚天動地鬼神哭的玩意，但我享受。 Labels: Working holiday – 生活.

Tuesday, February 19, 2013. 剛過去的週末，我跟媽媽和姐姐去了澳門。吃了豐富的葡國餐，買了兩包咖啡豆。起行前，我是非常擔心的。我擔心媽媽身體突然發生什麼情況，也擔心我哥不能照顧好沒有跟我同行的爸爸。結果，事情順利，在澳門沒有發生什麼不愉快的事。爸爸除了天天去麥當勞以外，也沒有什麼大行為問題。我擔心爸爸，主要是因為我對哥哥沒有信心。我一直覺得，我照顧爸爸都比我哥做的好，我哥實在是一個很懶的人，平常叫他帶爸爸去外面吃飯也不願意，就只會整天躺在床上，什麼也不做。雖然在照顧的事情上，我也有很多不足，但肯定比我哥做得好。什麼找社工看醫生都是我安排的，我甚至覺得我有點了不起。今晚，在禱告的時候，我想起了在北京的 K. 說過的話。我一直也想在『回望京城』裡寫一篇關於北京的人，但一直沒有頭緒怎麼去寫，就先在這裡寫一小段關於 K. 是一個喜歡音樂的人，跟其他弟兄姊妹在北京組成了一對敬拜的樂隊，有時會在崇拜帶領敬拜。我也曾經想過加入他的團隊，但後來沒有參加。說：『還好我沒有加入你的樂隊。』. 65306;『為什麼？』. Thursday, January 19, 2012. 我很喜歡台灣，很想再去這個地方。大選過後，更覺得他們有希望。大選當日，我看網上直播。下午四時開票後，心情確實緊張，因為我相信，這場選舉真的是民意的反映，人家的總統真的是一人一票選出來的，點票未結束，都不能確定誰勝誰敗。不像香港的特首，得勝的關鍵在於他能否取悅阿爺，選舉結果甚至可以在投票前確定。遠在京城的我都緊張，難怪在台灣工作的朋友們都急不及待的在面書表達他們的興奮之情。畢竟，二千三百萬的台灣人可以用選票發揮他們的影響力及愛台之情，表達他們對台灣的歸屬感。當選的馬英九有689萬名選民支持，慘敗的宋楚瑜也獲得近37萬張選票。反觀在香港的豬狼混戰，八百萬市民中只有1200人可以投票選特首，即是說得勝者最多也只得1200人的支持，比敗戰的宋楚瑜還要少308倍。但他卻可以聲稱代表我。怎能不叫香港人為台灣喝彩，為自己悲哀。民主的確可能會引起混亂。請想想，台灣成為一個可愛的地方，並不是一朝一夕的事。我記得，在20至30年前，父母都說台灣只...我這次專誠去了兩黨競選總部參觀。兩黨義工都歡迎我，...幾年前，...

Monday, October 24, 2011. 我在去年10月就非常確定自己想換工作了。當時我只知道現在工作地方的主管的名字和電話，而在那機構工作的人，我一個也不認識，我也不知道那機構是不是在請人。但當時的我實在是很想換工作，所以就把簡歷投給那個主管，並打電話給他約時間見面。面試當天，一進入他辦公室，他便說：『你在中國的採訪經驗非常少。假如我現在雇傭你，你能如何幫我呢？』當時我呆了，這個人一針見血的點出我在中國工作的最大問題。我在上一個工作機構做編輯，天天都是看稿做版，沒有寫過東西，更沒有採訪過什麼人，連最簡單的電話採訪也沒有。我從香港到北京，只是把居住的地方搬了，但工作方式和生活沒有變，轉變環境的意義不大。面試以後，那個主管沒有聯繫我，也沒有回我以後發他的電郵。當時我祈禱，向神說我想換工作，心中也認定，如果找不到新工作，多待半年或一年就回香港。去年的10月國慶日回港，更約了一些人，找找在香港工作的機會。但很奇怪的是，我在深圳黃崗過關去香港時，竟然想起北京。 Monday, October 03, 2011. 同一時間，有幾個在北京的朋友要走...

The session triggered me to think how easily I get frustrated from time to time.
