Take 5: March 2008
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 11, 2008. I had a revelation today - have been undergoing some serious thinking about whether I wanted to change lanes. Actually, jobs, to be precise. A long conversation with Pops had me thinking twice about leaving. It had started out last year. A gnawing feeling of inadequacy at the job, that somehow, I didn't fit into the mold needed for this type of work. Slowly, i started thinking again. Did I make a mistake? Should I stay on? Things seem good, and the environment's fantastic.

Take 5: August 2006
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 22, 2006. I'm feeling much better today. I guess all I needed was a good workout and run at the gym, to take that bit of frustration out of me. I visited city music with the missus on saturday. We were just strolling around and checking out jazz electrics for fun. Lo and behold, I found a thing of beauty, at a reasonable price too. The missus told me to go for it. I'm kidding of course. Posted by leo @ 9:51 PM. Links to this post. Sunday, August 20, 2006. Heard the song by soul asylum?

Take 5: February 2008
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. There's just something about Japanese composers. I fell in love with this piece the first time I heard it. It seems to be apt music for a rainy December evening, watching raindrops roll down the window pane. I watched part of the movie once - it had David Bowie as a POW in a prison camp, WWII. Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence. Here's the actual movie trailer. Posted by leo @ 10:06 PM. Links to this post. Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Links to this post.

Take 5: September 2006
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 27, 2006. I've got to get this off my chest. The Alumnus magazine just came in through the mail. It confirmed my worst fears - the article that I wrote had been re-written, reinterpreted and remade into a piece of hopeless drivel. Why am I disturbed? On a second read it really doens't seem that bad. At least I look less well-rounded in the pictures I submitted. Posted by leo @ 11:14 PM. Links to this post. Saturday, September 09, 2006. Take 5: July 2006
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 27, 2006. I did something silly while I was in Japan. I gave away our bird. Don't get me wrong, there's no way we could have brought in a live one. japanese customs might have deemed it necessary to turn it into yakitori. It was a lovely ceramic bird, yellow and blue in colour. nothing more than a simple pottery whistle. But, filled with water it sang like a true song bird. Michelle had entrusted it into my safekeeping. She asked, Can you Help me Get one? So I gave it away. I decided to go...

Take 5: May 2008

Thursday, May 22, 2008. Man, I love running outdoors. I've got a bum right knee that acts up occasionally, but that hasn't barred me from my running routine. I've found a cool new site that allows me to map my outdoor routes. True, slightly on the obsessive side, but its still cool to see where I run. Here, i've appended route maps i've created below. Maybe you could try them out sometime. Find more Runs in Singapore, Singapore. Find more Runs in Singapore, Singapore. Posted by leo @ 9:26 AM. In situatio...

Take 5: October 2006
http://take-5.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 02, 2006. I meant to write this post a few weeks back, a continuation of my ordinary people posts. She had wisps of grey and white hair, loosely tied. A few stray strands of pepper-white frayed out. These she swept aside with gnarled hands that looked battered by years of hard labour and worn out by arthritis. A crowd formed near her. Listless, anxious, awaiting the ripening moment. So we all crossed the road to the flashing green man and his pulsating rhythm. Nobody noticing the lady.
