2010-13 @ Denver 在美國的生活,旅遊記事,還有.碎碎念. 上星期五與好友Joyce, 陳同學一起去吃了很fusion的餐廳 TAG, 是個氣氛好阿, 晚點又到了附近在downtown舉辦的德國啤酒節續攤 一整個high! TAG 這間餐廳原本也在鈞比的想吃list上面, owner/chef 是最近Denver有名的廚師Troy Guard 開的店, 最近與老婆離婚鬧得風風雨雨加上最大的主廚出走 (八卦鈞比每天研究餐廳可不是研究假的哈哈), 本來對它有點沒信心, 不過Joyce買了張Groupon, 就邀大家一起去吃, 餐廳氣氛很不錯哩. TAG也是位在 Downtown最熱門的街Larimer Street (采跟鈞喜愛的店多在這條街上), 星期五的晚上湧進許多上班族非常熱鬧. 一進門就看到 (owner/chef )Troy Guard (右邊那位) 出來跟客人打招呼. 菜單每周換一次, 左邊的狗狗是老闆養的狗, 這間餐廳的名子TAG 就是以他的狗狗名子來的. 酒單取做the sauce, 滿有趣的! 看到了沒吃過的煙囪麵包, 馬上買一個來吃, 有點像pretzel 沾了糖粉.

ROW 14 and café bar. 最近去了兩間今年才新的餐廳, 分別去吃了晚餐的 ROW 14 還有早午餐的 café bar, 都滿不錯的. 今年3月才開的ROW 14 是走 Asian Fusion 風的美式餐廳, 位在downtown 的Convention Center對面, 主廚Jensen Cummings是日美混血, 所以口味裡面可以感覺到滿多日本的風味. 餐廳對面就是 Convention Center的可愛大熊 每次看到牠在偷看裡面就覺得好好笑. ROW 14的調酒口味都很特別, 點了以Whisky為底再加上 Balsamic vinegar還有Black tea調的, 可以喝的出Balsamic vinegar的酸味, 還滿妙的! 晚餐采點了NY Strip Steak Fries, 最近受Joyce影響有點愛上吃牛排 NY Strip Steak這個部位的筋還是多了點, 不過調味還算好吃! 采點了Eggs Benedict, 配上的 ham 雖薄薄一片但是卻非常有味道, 是今年吃過最好吃的ham拉.

Denver Westword 是 Denver 這邊的一個新聞報社, 主要是介紹娛樂, 音樂, 藝術, 吃喝玩樂等等的, 以網路報導為主, 但每星期會集結重點及廣告出產成一本免費的周刊, 在路邊或是各個餐廳, 咖啡店等等都可以拿的到. 自從搬來Denver之後, Westword 就變成鈞比的精神食糧, 尤其是關於餐廳的部分, 鈞比很有興趣的每天研究, 所以采也很幸福, 每星期都可以有新的或是好吃的餐廳可以去, 加上現在Groupon, Livingsocial 等等團購網站每星期都會出餐廳的特價deal, 上星期去吃的法國酒館LE GRAND就是這樣發現的, 吃完晚餐後就去看11月在Denver演出的The Lion King, 真是太開心啦. 2010-13 @ Denver 在美國的生活,旅遊記事,還有.碎碎念. 一轉眼小寶已經三個月拉, 公婆來幫忙做月子也告一個段落回台灣去了 , 采雖然跟鈞比有心理準備小寶出來之後一定會很忙碌, 但是沒有公公婆婆來幫忙的話采跟鈞應該是更暈頭轉向了! 11月初 (11/06-10) 的時候鈞比在舊金山有個年度研究基因的conference, 本來想說小寶剛出生手忙腳亂的就不去了, 但是公婆說很願意幫忙帶小孩, 叫鈞比去參加順便放鬆一下 (公婆人真是太好了! 第一天一大早的飛機, 到了舊金山才10點多, 這次定了在downtown 靠近 (Union Square) 的飯店, 從機場可以坐機場捷運直接到downtown 真是方便! Check in 之後就直奔 Ferry Building 吃中餐. Ferry Building 是個渡輪站兼購物還有吃東西的 market place , 裡面整理的很不錯, 逛起來很舒服. 瓶子裡面還可以看到許多新鮮的薑渣, 果真比一般的ginger ale 好喝太多拉! 這天因為是星期四, 所以攤子比較少一點, 來排隊的也很多是附近的上班族. 在舊金山的第三天鈞比依然要去c...
