http://thefickleewe.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Breeders of Icelandic Sheep. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Today my son his girlfriend and I did our best to separate the hens, who are muchley abused by all the roos, to the chicken pen (no roos allowed) cut wings so they don't fly over the gate and de-louse. Move the ram lambs to the back field (in anticipation of breeding season) and moved the turkeys and ducks into the side field. We were wet, muddy and stinky by the time we were done. We only sell or keep the best as breeding stock. Last year we brought in a new ram lamb from the Lavender Fleece to try to improve the. Quality of our lambs. I think we are on the right path. This year we showed some of those lambs at the OFFF. Harley was Champion Ram! Merlot was Reserve Champion Ewe! We also got the Blue ribbon in Best Flock!
