Sticks&Stones: Field Day
http://sticksandstones-anna.blogspot.com/2007/02/blog-post.html
Thursday, February 08, 2007. So I have made a few promises to myself since Field Day. One, I really need to work on the hula hoop in private before I ever attempt that in public again. Two, 10 push-ups a day should qualify me as the next wheelbarrow run champion. And three, I need to figure out a way to cheat when it come to the water balloon toss. Thanks PJ for the music and titling. Your a natural born Super 8er. I think I could watch hours of hula hooping. And VHS for prizes! Subscribe to my feed!

We of course had no idea it was the sort of place you should make a reservation for nor that the chef. Keep reading ». Keep reading ». For a whi...

Muse Share. Entertain. Monday, September 19, 2011. Links to this post. Monday, September 12, 2011. So here's an excuse to try handmaking some myself. I prepared 2 fillings; red bean and lotus paste, to go with 3 pastries; snow skin (ping pei)which is a non bake type, the common pastry type, and a flaky pastry type (if I'm not mistaken, it's Teochew). No molds of course, so just use our hands and good luck. And also, I survived Monday classes! 8:30 am until 6:30pm in uni with a 4 hour lunch break in betwe...

Sustainable Living and (sub)Urban Farming in the Central Valley. July 12, 2012. Meet the Chickens: Bellatrix the Black Australorp. All of us in the family are huge. Fans of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books, so it was only natural to go with a Harry Potter naming theme for our chickens when we got them as day-old chicks in April of 2011. Witness grown adults relive that very experience. Do you just want to do the maze tonight? You mean, there were bonus attractions out there, not just a Corn Maze? Dude That's the kind of entreprenurship that put Iowa on the map. Dude, those girls are way too old to be in a haunted corn maze. What are they, 17? Pieces of a Day.

The Zero Mile DIet. A Locavore Experiment in Oakland's Laurel District. Friday, July 25, 2008. New coop was finally finished this week so it was time to bring her chicks over. My chicken wrangling scheme didn't go too well in rounding them up . After we captured the first couple, everyone decided it was time to hide under the ivy. Thus I could only catch half of Andree's chickens. i'll have to make a second trip to Andree's in a week or so. Yesterdy, our friend Jim from Green Faerie Farms. We like our ch...
