Pigiama e vestaglia, seduto sul letto a gambe incrociate, con il letto disfatto a metà. Ho scoperto una città vivissima e molto, molto stilosa! Con tantissime cose da vedere e da fare, e con un'atmosfera molto europea. Siamo stati molto bene ed abbiamo girato parecchio, anche aiutati da un tempo niente male (sono settimane che non vedo la pioggia.devo cominciare a preoccuparmi? La foto simbolo di Birmingham.

Penso possa essere una cosa stimolante per una persona che sta facendo un'esperienza particolare nella sua vita. Nel mio caso, sto per andare a Manchester per un periodo di 6 mesi, a causa del mio dottorato di ricerca. Nelle ultime settimane avevo notato come il mio inglese, da quando sono qui, non fosse affatto migliorato. Anzi alle volte mi sembrava addirittura peggiorato! Per fortuna lo scorso weekend sono andato a Londra. Nulla fu mai piú favorevole per la mia autostima linguistica! Quando la gente parlava, si capiva tutto. Maledetto accento di Manchester!
