The lobby area of the gallery uses the sloped wall to reflect daylights into the building. The viewing glass is locate on the ground of the gallery space (to view the relfections of The Salute to Five Bells through the pool). The workshop is connected to the apartment with a glass bridge. Since the direction of winter wind is from west to east, the gallery (located at the west side) is designed with the highest level in order to block the cold wind. Besides, the eastern part of the buildings are designed with a relatively lower level, in order to maximise the morning sun during winter.
