http://tcnicklas.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. We celebrated a big day in the life of our little girl on January 10. She couldn't wait for her birthday to come, and would talk about how it's right after God's birthday (Christmas)! I can't say that I'm too sad to kiss the "2's" good-bye.but we've really enjoyed watching her grow and develop and learn so many new things! Emma REALLY enjoyed her donut! Saturday, January 24, 2009. The day after Christmas, we packed up the car and headed out for Michigan. We were in the car...

Life: As I know it. My humble perspective from my little place in this world. Thursday, January 15, 2009. So, when I got in my car this afternoon, I glanced up at the temperature gauge on my rear view mirror and saw this . . . Now, I understand that there are other places in the country that were even colder today (like, SD which was -42! But I'm a California girl . . born and raised in the DESERT! I don't DO negative temps! And that was even BEFORE accounting for the wind chill factor! He finally did it!

Turk Talk: Silence Before the Storm
http://turkfamilytalk.blogspot.com/2009/05/silence-before-storm.html
Welcome to the online commentary of the Turk Family. Silence Before the Storm. Friday, May 1. Sorry for the long silence. My life has been moving along. I am now on antibiotics for an ear and sinus infection. YUCK! Anyway here goes another post:. Have you ever had to wait? As I opened my devotions this week I was struck by the thought of what I am waiting for. am I waiting on the event or the Lord? You would think that I have it all figured out by this point, but really I feel more lost and confused then...

http://turkfamilytalk.blogspot.com/2009/04/control-freak.html
Welcome to the online commentary of the Turk Family. Saturday, April 4. Do you ever feel like you are trying to guess what the Lord is working in your life? For the Lord to give me that clear direction. I also continue to pray that He will make clear if I should move forward with my ultra sound on Monday. So now it is Saturday night and I have received so many notes asking what is going on. any news? Maybe there is some really good theology to be learned when God is silent" - Beth Moore. Did you get ...

Life: As I know it. My humble perspective from my little place in this world. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. It was a freak thing. Of the hope God can bring in times such as these. Posts without tearing up and grieving with her. But in the midst of her grief, she never fails to praise God and look for His plan in it all. She has been an inspiration to me, especially through her most recent post. Saturday, May 24, 2008. We got to see both! We will always treasure these photos we took the last time we saw Grandp...

Life: As I know it. My humble perspective from my little place in this world. Thursday, December 11, 2008. Love, Love, LOVE Him! ANYWAY . . . We went to KC for Thanksgiving and my in-laws thought it would be way fun to get their grandsons (3 of them - a set 2 yr old twins, and our 1 yr old cutie) full-on suits that they can wear for Christmas, and then they wanted them to get their pics taken together. So, they took us to Janie and Jacks and we walked out with this . . . I mean, really. You need a shot o...

Carrie's Corner: The Pretzel Story
http://tcnicklas.blogspot.com/2009/06/pretzel-story.html
Sunday, June 21, 2009. Recently, Emma and I went with some friends to "America's Oldest Pretzel Bakery" to see how pretzels were made in Colonial times. We were able to take a tour of the pretzel bakery and try out making our own pretzels. Emma was so very proud of herself for learning to twist pretzels and for receiving her Official Pretzel Twister certificate! This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. It looks like you had a great time. I love Emmas face in the photos! June 22, 2009 at 10:59 PM.

Life: As I know it. My humble perspective from my little place in this world. Thursday, June 05, 2008. So Fresh and So Clean Clean! There's plenty of room for him to play, kick, splash, etc., but without having to waste water by filling up the entire (big) bath tub. And, I like that I can just deflate this tub and pack it easily when we travel (which we do A LOT)! We tried it out last night for the first time (along w/ Micah's brand new robe that we got from a shower before he was born). My hubby and me.
