Go Ahead and Go To Bed Mad! I recently read a blog post by Lydia Netzer. She is the author of the book. Shine I had never read her before, but our daughter Annie's boyfriend Lucas sent it to us and asked for our thoughts. Netzer has been married for 15 years and she shared15 tips to help you stay married. She had some good advise but I did not necessarily agree with it all. Her first piece of advice is the one I want to comment on in this blog. 1 Go to bed mad. Terri's attempt to omit a naughty word!

Life with the Goodlins: Take it all out! Everything!
http://toothgirl.blogspot.com/2015/05/take-it-all-out-everything.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. Take it all out! I am sure you all remember my last post. About the missionaries from India, Sam and Cam. And I needed some perspective about what I really need, or don't need. Basically I want to live more simply. I don't want things consuming my life. And then I happen to see a post about a wardrobe capsule. I knew I had to do it, like immediately! Little did I know one of my closets friends Heather was doing the same exact thing! It's about how less is more! I had so many reusa...

Sunday, November 16, 2014. The end of a season. It's so strange, this time is coming to an end. Of Brett studying of Brett being in school of Brett being gone ALL THE TIME. He takes his final CPA exam tomorrow (as long as he passes)! Tomorrow people, I will see my husband again, the kids their father. I'm not even sure what we are going to do about it. I mean it's been 4 years, 4 years, almost the entire time we have had kids, sheesh. I have had to manage, adjust, make due, get bye, survive.just be.

Life with the Goodlins: July 2014

Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Don't let it stop you. I take my kids to the pool. A lot. It's not at all relaxing. I have 4 of them. They are young. I'm basically just trying to keep them all alive, make sure they don't pee or poop in the pool, or drown, or jump in with a $10,000 insulin pump, or have low blood sugar, or need to nurse or eat, or get severe sun burns. I don't do it do relax. I just do it to be with them. And we always have fun! We went camping. For just one night. But we went camping. I loved wa...

Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Levi's 1 year birthday and 12 month progression. It's about time, sheesh, almost a full month later, but we did have a special celebration for Levi's first birthday. I mean of course we did, we do 1st birthday big, I mean it's a pretty big deal that we kept him alive for 12 months, especially in this family, so we really wanted to celebrate life! Levi is my only official summer birthday (barely sneaking it in) So of course we had to do the party a the pool! I can smell it.

Life with the Goodlins: October 2014
http://toothgirl.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. A farmers life for me. If I'm being honest I would like to live on a farm. Well kind of. I want my kids to be able to wander around outside and explore, play with chickens, and. Sit under that perfect big tree that seems to be at everyone's farm house. But I don't really want any of the work that comes from having a farm. And I don't like flies, animals and stinky things, which seem to come with having a farm. Can't you just picture it? So this year it was W. Monday, October 1...
