With difficulty he leaned painfully toward her, so that his ear was near her mouth. We need your gift," she whispered. And what, in any case, did she want him to touch? So much was ruined. He felt his fingers begin to vibrate. Kira wiped her e...

Not only have they taken on the tasks of reading and discussing deeply what we have required for class, but they have independently become searchers and researchers of great literature. Kwaylon and Mrs. DuBose reading Freedom Crossing. A group of eager students! Amy, Amanda, Mommy, Hey You, Hurry Up.

http://lifelearningblog.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
O Captain My Captain. Saturday, August 25, 2012. CLASS DISCUSSIONS: ALWAYS UNEXPECTED DELIGHTS. It has been the most challenging, fast paced year yet.and I'm only two weeks in. Run the Race: July 2010
http://runtheracewithjill.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us" Hebrews 12:1. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. I am NOT a runner. I never have been. I'm friends with runners, lots of them. My older brother Paul is a huge runner. I've watched him in several races including full marathons and even a 1/2 Ironman triatholon. None of these races ever inspired me to become a runner. Most everyone I've seen in these races were either crazy or they looked miserable! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lord, Keep Me Desperate. View my ...

O Captain My Captain: Final Stretch
http://lifelearningblog.blogspot.com/2013/04/final-stretch.html
O Captain My Captain. Monday, April 1, 2013. I will not go! I meant it too. How could I leave such a school as this. As I have grown as a teacher, I have found that both of these ladies' educational philosophies (although vastly different) drive my desire to dive more deeply into the issues we face in public schools today. Oh how many problems there are, too. Do I have answers? I know what my California friends would say to that! Amy, Amanda, Mommy, Hey You, Hurry Up. April 30, 2013 at 6:01 PM. ON AWARDS...
