Jan Good, my son-in-law's mother and my Sister in all of this has been about 2 months ahead of me with treatments and procedures. Chemo has been effective to eradicate her Stage 3 breast cancer, as well. On this Friday she will have surgery. Bethany picked me up from my 11th treatment yesterday and then we were able to go to lunch for her 35th Birthday - We Bell girls love to celebrate our birthdays for days so we need to start early. One of my favorite pictures - Terry was on duty. The whole time of Bethany's birth! It seems like only yesterday. Cousin Angie and Nonnie. We don't know where the time has gone! With little sleep in 6 days for Marshall - Marshall and Katie headed to OK instead of the trip to Africa Katie had planned. They loaded up their dog - Katie packed food for the trip - and headed East on Interstate 70 - They wanted to be here in time to trick or treat with the girls. I'm thankful for good pain medication and being able to sleep well at night. I have the best caregivers. The bandages came off today and the nurse assistant was pleased with the outcome. First Fav - today's #`1 Pick - This week the girls have had swimming lessons at ORU - it's a long trek for Momma with 3 kids - up a hill to get to the indoor pool. Never mind that you're gonna get soaked on the inside - the downpour on the way to the pool nearly downs you. Notice the goggles and who is taking care of little sis. Every night we had the most beautiful sunsets. Braving the Surf with Pappa. Together is the best place to be.

Some may not know that a car (yes, my own, and yes, my fault) ran over my left leg in May. It basically shut me down from shooting anything for about a month and a half. I am going to have some knee surgery but not until winter because missing the chance to photograph high school seniors in the summer and fall would just be too depressing! I have just had the best time with them!
