In order to be really good as a librarian, everything counts towards your work, every play you go see, every concert you hear, every trip you take, everything you read, everything you know. I don’t know of another occupation like that. The more you know, the better you’re going to be. Allen Smith, PhD. Book Tourism in Canada. September 20, 2013. Harry's Folly: Walking whale no fluke
http://harrysfolly.blogspot.com/2012/03/walking-whale-no-fluke.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Walking whale no fluke. This walking stick is from a sycamore tree that lost many limbs in a recent storm. The last photo shows the stick standing next to that tree. Janice P. said. I love this whale walking stick (and some of your others, too). Im wondering what you charge for this item. Mar 13, 2015, 5:37:00 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Harry's Folly: March 2010
http://harrysfolly.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Are you a Manatee or a mouse? I carved this manatee cane from privet wood. Here are a few bowls that I've made over the last couple of weeks. I'm in a rush to make the deadline for the Inman Park Festival coming up this spring in Atlanta. Snake rattle and roll. This rattlesnake walking stick was carved from curly willow for my friend, Gene. I think it will be better company on walks than some he's come across in the past. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Harry's Folly: Dust bowl
http://harrysfolly.blogspot.com/2012/03/dust-bowl.html
Thursday, March 22, 2012. I created more sawdust than bowl with this project. It's carved from a large piece of cypress that a neighbor gave me. It can be used as a bowl, boat or bathtub. Harry's Folly: October 2011
http://harrysfolly.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 21, 2011. Live music at the Folly. Last weekend our friends Adele, Bob and David from Charleston SC came to town and treated us to a concert from the porch of the Folly. Our garden was transformed into a magical, dream-like place with great music, friends and fun (the rum didn't hurt either). Wow! Thank you so much, guys! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
