#reality check – write brain widow
https://writebrainwidow.blog/2017/01/11/reality-check
Love loss. . . life. January 11, 2017. But in a way, I was back – into the world of couple dinners, grandparental team babysitting nights, movies for four and parties for many and I was more than happy. I never really was the blithe divorcee anyway. (‘blithe’seriously? I had returned to where I began, peacefully curled up with hubby at home. And I was content. If I would’ve known the way that this would end. If I would’ve read the last page first. If I would’ve had the strength to walk away. January 11, ...

Love loss. . . life. January 4, 2017. Moving ahead; Looking back. They’ say those who’ve gone are still very much present to us; we just can’t see them. Hello? I’m a visual person, not a ouiji board! Maybe I’m just whistling in the new year dark, hoping that our absent loved ones really are by our side. But, hey, we need all the help we can get. This entry was tagged death. History is life, with all its ups and downs, no matter how we’d like to retouch it. Graphic designers like me are cool with that kind of artistic license but history needs no retouched brand marketing. It is what it is. I’m in advertising. I ...

Love loss. . . life. December 29, 2016. In one year and out the other. Confetti and noisemakers are so yesterday. Seriously, my husband and I never did the expected New Year’s Eve frolic. We were either too lazy to do the whole dress up/party down scene, or thought our own couch, movies and snacks more closely equalled ‘cozy’ over ‘crazy’. Either way, we did New Year’s Eve our way. When they’re not, even New Year’s Eve is just another night. November 18, 2016. We’re Bigger Than This. Blogs that inspire me.
