This is Miles' second season playing soccer and he is actually getting very good at volleying the ball down the field. He loves to run and is quite fast! Always in a full sprint! Saturday, September 22, 2012. Birthdays and Back to School. I cannot believe my baby is already 3! He is growing like a weed! He is really into superheroes these days and especially The Avengers. Everyday he decides a different one is his favorite, so I had to put these 4 all on the cake. This is going to make buying his Halloween costume ahead of time a little tricky. Friday, June 25, 2010. Summer fun and Ava's first dance recital. These are a few of the "School Picture" the daycare took. Ava had her dance recital at Robinson auditorium last week and was so excited to go out on stage. Backstage she kept saying, "They're finished. MY turn! Friday, April 1, 2011. Daffodil Fields and Miles' Soccer Practice. This is the first time the we have been able to get our kids to pose for pictures and not be absolutely crazy while trying to photograph them! Monday, March 26, 2012. Slow start to 2012. We go to the daffodil field each year for pictures during the 'festival'. This year we almost missed it. Between the torrential rains and the 80 degree weather, the daffodils were all but gone. This was one of the only patches left when we got there. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Ava's Fourth Birthday and getting ready for Christmas! The kids had a great time decorating the tree. And we only broke about 4 ornaments doing it! Monday, November 8, 2010. They sang to her and it was official.She was 3. Her Minnie Mouse cake and the chocolate cakeballs that we made to match it. Miles almost ate his weight in cakeballs! And she was all too ready to open her presents! She has that part down pat. In true Nana-style, Miles got a gift on her birthday like she gets one on his. Saturday, July 24, 2010. Kinley's birthday, 4th of July and more summer fun! Kinley, Ashley and Marissa hanging out in the kids' "Jumpy House" late in the day after her party. We ordered the kids a bouncy house after finding out it costs as much to buy one as it does to rent one less than twice! It's a nice way of letting them wear themselves out without taking a trip to Jump Zone! THE FIRST NIGHT. SO, it is now for kids under 5 only. :-(. But what fun was had the first (and only night) it was used!
