Our life in the Yukon-Canada's True North. Emilie was determined to play on her swingset today. Here she is trying to dig out the swing. She was very grumpy that she could not swing. She did however, sit on the slide, although a little frustrated. That she could only slide down about 2 inches. She has no idea that it will be another 2 months until all the snow is gone! Our life in the Yukon-Canada's True North. Saskatoon, SK to Fargo, ND. Driving Time: 12 1/2 hours. Today, I thought we would answer some questions that you may have wondered about. 1 How cold does it have to be for 8 cans of Coke to explode in your truck? Not exactly sure, but apparently it got that cold last night. 2 When a can (or 8 to be exact) of Coke explodes, how far does it fly? At least the length of a packed Dodge Durango. 3 What is the purpose of Saskatchewan? Posted by Derek and Jenny Baker.

Baker Bits: Roadtrip Day 3

Our life in the Yukon-Canada's True North. Portage, IN to Antigo, WI. The morning started out with breakfast at Denny's. Sure, our hotel had a free breakfast, but let me tell you that you sure get tired of those imposter bagels and cereals real quick. So Denny's it was, and it was fabulous. Then off to Cabela's. Didn't you just go to Bass Pro Shop? Yes, we did. "And now Cabela's? Yes 2 of them, in fact. Forget the "golden arches", Cabela's is our PlayPlace. Our kids love it! Teslin, Yukon Weather.

Our life in the Yukon-Canada's True North. It is hard to believe that summer is halfway gone! We have been quite busy and the time is flying by. Derek's nephew, Vince Rowe, is up for 2 weeks, and they have been working hard. Whether it's visiting elders or resurfacing our front deck, they're constantly in motion. Right now they are building a wood shelter for firewood. Please pray for us as we minister throughout the rest of the summer. So many people need the healing power of Jesus. Our First Canada Day!
