Friday, October 26, 2012. That I don't love Halloween. But I have had at least one great Halloween experience this year. Drew and I got together with some of his friends for a night of pumpkin carving! They take their pumpkin carving very seriously. Very. Seriously. I was a little out of my league. :). Thankfully they had a book with patterns for some cool carvings. I chose my favorite (even though it was 3/4 difficulty and some people - drew! Probably the best pumpkin I've ever carved! We spent the first 3 days in Park City visiting my brother and his family. while we were there it was sooo cold! The first day we tried to go swimming at the rec center. Sunday, October 4, 2015. Want to know what I did this summer? And I learned a lot about plants. And I don't care if this plant can withstand a wide range of weather conditions. And everyone plants it. And it is a beast to deadhead in the Spring. This plant always looked heinous. With ugly holes visible after you cut out all the dead. Which there was always a lot of. Hence the ugly holes. And wasps embedded in them that sting you when you're trying to prune it. I want to fix them. One dead bunny head.
