Relentless Writers: Books Vs. Movies
http://relentlesswriters.blogspot.com/2015/07/books-vs-movies.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Books Vs. Movies. A couple weeks ago a debate sprung up between me and a few of my friends. Which is better, books or movies? In the defense of books I must say that I enjoy writing a fight scene, I like the flow of my words on the page, like a dance of back and forth blows. Is it harder to do than actually acting it out? Of course, but in the end the sequence feels more satisfying. So, do movies do books justice? Do you always read the book first? Tell me in the comments below!

But I do envy people who have the time and gumption to be that organized. It might be a nice change of pace. Thankfully, these posts are supposed to be short in order to facilitate quick readin...

Laura Droege's blog. Here’s a taste of my first novel,. Their daughter lies unconscious in ICU, dying from a suicide attempt. Now Monroe and Claire Dempsey must deal with the fallout of their only child’s mental illness and promiscuity and the haunting specter of sexual conflict in their marriage. Lucy leaves behind a baby girl, a devastated husband and a brutally honest journal. Each of these holds hope for her parents’ troubled relationship. Creative non-fiction and guest blogs. Why I write stories.

http://relentlesswriters.blogspot.com/2015/08/how-to-sell-your-book-without-selling.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. How to Sell Your Book without Selling Your Soul. Right away I need to tell you something personal. Not the TMI-kind-of-personal, but personal in the sense that this won’t be the typical “how-to” blog post about book marketing. Why? Because sales and marketing turns me off completely and causes my skin to itch. Good advice, right? Yes, of course. But personally, I can’t do it that way. Not without selling my soul in the process.
