Friday, August 9, 2013. Turning 30 and Turning 4. The summer always holds a very special holiday.Russ' birthday in July. This wasn't just any birthday, it was his 30th birthday! So what did we do to celebrate this milestone? Nope, just the birthday boy and me at hom. E It was kind of fun to have a quiet, birthday just the two of us. Here are some pics of our party of 2. Last night Russ and I had another celebration. We celebrated our 4th anniversary! Song was pretty much our anniversary-Mario Kart anthem.

Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Making messes and more messes. But most messes make for happy children playing. So I will take that any day. It's always fun to hang out just the girls when the boys are at school and work. We made a special trip to the mall to check out the new play area. And get a quick snack favorite, pretzel nuggets. Last week of swimming lessons for the year! And starting in January the kids are going to be in the same class which will make it so much easier for me! So proud of her.

Friday, January 10, 2014. Our hotel was in the middle of Chinatown. So we did some exploring and that including going to an amazing Chinese restaurant. (Sidenote: It was pretty funny cause the restaurant was playing music but it was just the same Bruno Mars song over and over. So we probably heard it like 15 times while we ate.). But we made it! Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Three months.where did they go? Our little C is fitting right in with our family. She is a complete angel. T and G are a little obsessed with her. That can be pretty overwhelming. Anytime she is on the floor, couch, bed or etc. they seem to. Think they are free to do whatever they please. Kiss, hug, squeeze, grab. I wasn't really prepared for their reaction to her. I kind of thought they wouldn't pay too much attention to her. But they just LOVE her. She is a great sleeper!

I arrived just in time to celebrate Michael's last law school final of the semester. Montana Ted's bar-b-que was in order. They have the thickest, juciest burgers I have ever seen - perfect for celebrating. On Thursday, we girls walked around Georgetown, and the National Mall - "my old stomping growunds."
