Nato nel 1956 a Rivera, docente di scuola media, a settembre 2000 inizia la formazione professionale al CSIA di Lugano nella sezione di tessitori a mano, dopo diversi corsi in Svizzera e all’estero. Partecipa inoltre ad uno stage nel centro Hulsflidslag Vevstova a Voss e nell’atelier Spindelvev ad Ama, in Norvegia. Nel 2004, dal mese di maggio, inizia ufficialmente la sua attività artistica ed apre un atelier di tessitura a Rivera.
