Saturday, September 13, 2008. So last week my friends and I left for the 80's dance! It was ok kinds boring, but it got better as it went on. This is my dance group. (we are only missing one person). These are the people who actually dressed up, I know that I look weird, I wore my moms prom dress. My friend wore her Dad's Lettermans Jacket. (I'm sorry if I spelled that wrong.) Girl with a life worth living. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. 4th of July was a blast! We had a bbq with our cousins and then went to a friend's house to watch the fireworks that come from the high school. Friday, August 22, 2008. I am so excited! I've been wanting to can meats for awhile now and I finally did it. Or I should say Mike and I did it. We have 12 pints of chicken canned and ready to put on the shelf. It was so easy! I found fresh chicken breast on sale for $1.69 per pound and bought 13lbs or so and put those lovely breasts into the jars with a little salt and pressure canned them. It was as easy as that! I am definitely going to do more and will be looking for a sale on beef.

Sunday, December 14, 2008. So yesterday was my birthday, and I had a party. It was soooo much fun! Are theme was Hollywood Premiere, even though we didn't watch a movie. Every one was dressed up as a character from TV/Movie. I was attempting to be Peter Pan. My sister was Lola Lafanda from Hannah Montana. Beck was a twilight person. Adam was Pedro/Napoleon/Santa . Bo was Galinda on a causal day, and Em was a Fairy. Court was Meredith from Grey's Anatomy . Linz was the Little Mermaid. It was sooooo cool!

Girl with a life worth living. Monday, July 28, 2008. Today I was really bored and I decided to make a pie! Im so proud of myself. lol. Heres the recipe so you can try it:. 6 tablespoons of sugar. 2 pinches of salt. 3 cups of flour. 1 cup of butter. Mix egg and sugar in small bowl. In separate bowl combine salt and flour. soften butter until slightly melted and put into bowl with salt and flour. add in egg mixture. knead dough into 2 smooth balls and put in refridgerator for 15 min. 3 tablespoons of flour.
