Traveling, dreaming, enjoying. Figured y’all could use a little break from the land of pastry and the Eiffel Tower…. Last weekend, I ventured with my family to the “other side of the metroplex” to visit the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. And after an afternoon filled with impressionism, people-watching, and gawking at useless museum store merchandise, we stumbled across greatness at Sweet Sammie’s. Ohhhhh yeahhhhhhh. The perfect (if not a tad on the unhealthy side) snack for a hot Texas afternoon.

22 July, 2015. That's when he started shouting. Now, I figured the water had gone cold. This has happened before. Or, there was the time that he fooled with the taps and had the shower running at three million degrees. So it could have been hot, rather than cold. Unfortunately, this was not the issue. His hands were covered in poo. From the mountain of poo on the floor of the tub. I washed away the second mountain of poo, which at least this time he had not put his hands into, and went back to the bedroom.
