Monday, July 12, 2010. I had a very nice birthday. A friend called and surprised me with tickets to the local AAA baseball game (GO ROUND ROCK EXPRESS! So we all got great seats to watch the game and the fireworks. Thank you Jill and Nicki! In less than 3 weeks, both Michelle and I will be on weekly infusions and spend a lot of time together. It will be nice to have the company, but I wish we were hanging out over lunch or coffee, rather than a chemo infusion. Well, that will come later.

Friday, May 28, 2010. 5th Grade Graduation 5-28-10. Well, he did it and I was there to see it! Shower, undergarments, slip the dress over my head, shake out the wig and pop on the instant hair. I did the Nike Marathon.and really meant to post a small race report and blog a little bit about the wonderful experience.not really the marathon part (which wasn't bad) but the girl's weekend part.it was one of the best mini vacations. Anyway, it's been a couple of weeks (maybe a month? The last half was much better but a little miserable after mile 19! Overall, it was a lot of fun and I would love to do it again.we'll see.
