January 9, 2011. 10 and 2 or 9:40 to 1 to 9:45. I came across a great book at the library on Saturday… Fly Tying and Fly Fishing for Bass by Tom Nixon. What caught my eye the most was the casting section. I am not a professional caster, never even taken a class. My only casting lesson was when my friend handed me the first fly rod I ever held, a rigged Sage 9′ 6w rod on the banks of the Hoosic River. February 7, 2011. Last night I made a jaunt over to my favorite golf course fishin’ hole, to top off a nice weekend with some fly fishing.
