Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We went to Isle of Palms last week for 4 days with the youth of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. We had a great time relaxing and playing in the sand and in the waves. We were very lucky that we didn't have any shark encounters (although we were right down the beach when THIS KID. Was bitten by a shark.) YIKES! Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (16 months). In September, Miriam turned 16 months old. She is becoming fiercely independent and showing development growth each and every day! Friday, October 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (17 months- October). I know I'm so slow posting all these monthly updates.but I'm mostly caught up! In October, Miriam turned 17 months old. She likes to do things on her own. But she is happiest when she is right beside her big sis. This child loves to dance! Her arms start flailing about and she turns around in circles! She loves to say, "Hey Daddy! Her new favorite sign is "all done.". However, she has no problem sleeping like THIS when Mommy is around.

Tuesday, December 3, 2013. We were so lucky to be able to spend this Thanksgiving with our friends down the street. We have grown very close to them, and it helps that our kiddos are best friends! Frankie and Ashleigh were born the exact same day (20 minutes apart and in two different states) and Miriam and Tyler are 2 weeks apart). It was so much fun planning our meal in advance, and then getting to spend the whole afternoon/evening with them! Seriously, don’t they look like they could be related?

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (15 months). Let's rewind a little bit and go back to August when Miriam turned 15 months old). Well, this child is up and running (kind of). She is starting to walk faster now, and I'm sure she'll be running soon. She wants to try to keep up with sister! She is getting brave when she is outside. She is walking up and down the big hill next to the barn. Pardon us: We needed an outfit change! She loves to chase the dog. (Poor Arden). She loves playing outside!
