http://thegwoods.blogspot.com/2010/01/happy-holidays.html
DaVe, AmBeR, JaSe, Ty and KaDe. Sunday, January 10, 2010. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a great New Year. I am terrible at the blogging thing, so like usual I will just post a bunch of pictures from the last little while. We were lucky enough to spend the holidays with family and friends. Until next time. Kade loved his little dinosaur Santa brought him. So did Tate! Jase and Maddi, little buddies! Ty and Grandpa George. Santa comes Christmas eve to my moms home. He takes last minute requests.

The Root Family: March 2013
http://therootfam.blogspot.com/2013/07/march-2013.html
Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Skye was called to be the Bishop of our ward on March 3rd. Lots of family came to support, which was a tender mercy throughout an emotional weekend. Skye and I had a all-expense paid Sun Valley, Idaho getaway. He spoke at a law conference for 60 minutes and we spent 3 days in Sun Valley courtesy of the Idaho Real Estate Bar. The boys continue to succeed at their reading lessons, which makes us very proud. Marion discovered the drawers with all their trimmings. A whole lot of BS.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. We started the year in Sunriver, Oregon on vacation with the Root Family. It was a great trip. We ended the vacation by going through the temple with Sabrina. We celebrated our 6th anniversary. We bought a new Excursion and sold our Expedition after driving it for 4 years and putting 100,000 miles on it. The boys discovered "fort-making". Marion discovered the dishwasher. We truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A whole lot of BS.

The Root Family: December 2012
http://therootfam.blogspot.com/2013/07/december-2012.html
Tuesday, July 16, 2013. I'm back after a long absence from the blogging. Over the next few days I will roll out a post for each month from last December through this June. The boys loved playing in some of the first snowfalls. Nona and Papa (my parents) and Sam came from Texas for an early Christmas. Spencer spent his winter break from BYUI with us! Brolin and Sarah stayed a few days, while the rest of the family was here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A whole lot of BS.

Friday, July 19, 2013. We found out we will be having a baby girl, Makenna Maureen Root, due October 28th! Skye took CFA Level 3 Exam, broke his hand on high adventure (but still had a great time), and traveled for work a lot. Sheyanne graduated from high school and we enjoyed a fun weekend trip to Burns. Sabrina took some outstanding pictures of where Skye grew up and where his parents still live. Grandma had back surgery near the middle of the month and has been recovering since. July 19, 2010. Stop and Smell the Roses. Just in case you needed a reminder. This video says it all. July 12, 2010. Ok, we're not the Griswalds, but what better way to catch up on the summer than walking down memory lane. So, here's a pictorial of what's been going on this summer. Unfortunately, we did. Make it to Wally World :(. We celebrated Koebe's birthday! We got a mohawk for the last day of school. We got a big girl car seat. We fell asleep in our big girl car seat. We had fun with Grandpa!

August 8, 2010. Don't ask why we decided on this cruel and unusual nickname for our daughter (ok- blame Aprille- she started it! It is hard to imagine that a year has past, but it has. Kaiya is officially one. Her hair thinks she's a newborn, but we're confident that in the coming months, there will be enough hair to some how wrap a bow around it thus eliminating the much loved comment."Oh, how old is your son? Anyway, she has made it. What do you need to know about Kaiya? August 9, 2010 at 8:07 PM.

October 3, 2010. Love Texas, but this State needs to. A little on the sports. What's wrong with the 80's? That's when I had soccer practice- once a week! I turned out fine! But then again, I'm not a starting player for FC Manchester either.hmm. I'll come back to that one. Aisle and discovered Costco sold alot more than cheese, butter and meat. It was glorious and exhausting. Two hours later we headed home with our haul and reveled in the sweet bliss of going to Costco with our undivided attention...Later...
